Get involved with all the action of the Suffolk Saxons Match Nights

Ever wanted to be a Games Maker at the Olympics but never made it? Now you have the chance to be a Saxons Supporter by volunteering at the Suffolk Saxons exhibition match at The Ipswich Corn Exchange, 3rd December.

The match will showcase one of GB’s medal-winning Olympic sports at close quarters where the matche will be fast, furious and highly competitive as you would expect in a professional sports setting. With some of the top international players in Europe, several of whom have recently returned from the Olympic Games in Rio.

Volunteers have a key part to play in the successful delivery of this exhibition match.

We are looking for two team hosts to take care of the home and away team, you will sit in with the teams throughout the evening and ensure they have the information and refreshments they need.

Tunnel Manager - read more at Volunteer Suffolk
We are looking for an organised individual who can control the players getting on the court at the right time and restrict access through the tunnel when required. The tunnel is the point of entry on to the court.

Court/Event Set Up
Will take place throughout the day on Monday 3rd Dec. This role will include laying the badminton court, as well as supporting other aspects of the event preparations, heavy lifting and carrying are required for this role.
